For Spring Summer 2019, Bally drew inspiration from two 1970's fine art photographers Joel Sternfeld and Stephen Shore, and their color images of road trips throughout Los Angeles and wider California. The collection was presented in Milan amidst a monochromatic peach tone set, depicting a flea market bazaar with all manner of paraphernalia, akin to a roadside rummage sale.
The brands signature leather goods and outerwear are presented with retro influenced silhouettes; light and soft leather trench coats layered over relaxed sportswear, paired back with a backpack or weekender style bags. A sepia toned color palette reflective of the 1970’s inspiration is balanced with bolder tones of emerald, poppy red and gold.
The Bally sneaker category welcomes two new styles; the 'Vulko' and the reissue of the 'Champion', available for both men and women. Another addition is the unisex eyewear collection, with two key silhouettes that each hark back to the vintage road trip inspiration of this season.
Black are are proud to have partnered with Bally for our second Black x Bally exclusive.
